Lighting Upgrades for Businesses

The Town of Holland is a major proponent of both improving energy efficiency and helping local business grow and thrive. To help support both of these initiatives, the Town has engaged with Alternative Utility Services, out of Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, to provide Holland businesses the opportunity to upgrade their facilities’ lighting without having to spend any of their own capital resources. The Town is currently in the process of working with Alternative Utility Services to upgrade the lighting of the town hall at no cost to the town. The goal of this program will be to reduce electric consumption of Holland businesses while giving businesses increased flexibility to invest and grow their own businesses rather than sink money into utility improvements.

Businesses that participate in this program will receive upgrades to modern LED bulbs and ballasts throughout their facility without having to invest any of their own capital. Additionally, Alternative Utility Services will handle all ongoing maintenance of your new lights, while handling the recycling of old equipment and applying for incentives that increase savings. In return, Alternative Utility Services and your business will share the savings that your new upgrade provides your business. The process to complete your lighting upgrade is quite simple and you can discover what savings you can expect to receive.

Lighting Upgrades for Local Businesses

Businesses and institutions that operate at least 40 hours a week need only to complete a self-lighting audit form and return to support@ausenergy.com with a copy of a recent electric bill to get started. If you have any questions about the program, how it works, or getting started, please contact David Thurnau at 262-248-0930.
